To push the limits and develop a cutting-edge technological solution, the experts at GSI Électronique turned to Kezber for close collaboration on this project. Kezber had to meet GSI Électronique’s standards, develop a secure, reliable, and fast web application, design the interface within the set deadlines, and stay true to the existing software design. As a result, Kezber created an adaptive web application compatible with various mobile devices. The interface and design were developed to seamlessly align with GSI Électronique’s existing technology. The primary goal was to ensure the accessibility of the equipment’s functionalities, regardless of the distance between the worker and the farm.
Since the agri-food industry requires robust equipment capable of withstanding demanding work environments, Kezber had to consider this reality and propose a reliable solution that could be used outdoors and in challenging conditions. The web application had to operate on mobile devices with exceptional speed, ensuring response times of only a few seconds. Workers needed to control farm equipment from their mobile devices and see immediate results. For instance, they could open or close barn doors at a scheduled time to let the animals out.
Time was also a crucial factor. Kezber’s experts first analyzed the requirements and specificities of the existing technology before developing the web application in multiple phases. To ensure the application was built correctly, the team conducted several quality checks and made the necessary adjustments. Throughout the project, Kezber’s specialists maintained accuracy, consistency, and flawless equipment functionality, as site security and compliance with industry regulations were paramount in the agri-food sector. The solution was delivered on time and with outstanding quality—delays or failures were not an option.
Thanks to GSI Électronique, farm owners can now receive alerts from a virtual controller when an issue arises, such as incorrect humidity levels or temperature fluctuations. This allows them to act quickly, improving livestock farming operations. While this control solution was already widely known and used, its potential needed to be maximized by developing a responsive web application accessible remotely on mobile devices and other platforms. This innovation had to be a seamless extension and faithful replica of the existing control technology.
The interface not only meets GSI Électronique’s standards but is also reliable and highly efficient. The solution’s user-friendliness was significantly improved with the 2019 update. Kezber’s experts adhered to design deadlines and quality requirements, leveraging top-tier technologies and resources to develop a high-level interface. It provides extensive functionalities, precise information, and a design that remains true to the original product. Furthermore, the application is easy to use, combining efficiency and performance.
